1- Pre Monsoon Rains To Continue In LUCKNOW – The City Of Nawabs.

Pre Monsoon activities are lashing the northwestern regions of the country. Many parts of North Rajasthan, South Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh experienced dust storm, thunderstorm activity along with squall during the last 24 hours.

However, pre Monsoon rains accompanied with squall would increase over central and eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Places such as Lucknow, in Uttar Pradesh is expected to rain heavily these week.

2- Ali Fazal Shooting In ‘Hometown’ LUCKNOW For Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Milan Talkies’

International actor Ali Fazal is back in his hometown Lucknow to shoot his second film. The 31-year-old actor, who has acted in ‘Furious 7’ and Judi Dench starrer ‘Victoria and Abdul’, visited the sets of ‘Milan Talkies’ on Monday–a day ahead of his schedule–to see the proceedings there.

The film is being shot in Lucknow and Mathura. However, both cities will be shown as Allahabad–Tigmanshu’s hometown where he shot his debut film Haasil. Besides Ali Fazal, the film stars South actor Shraddha Srinath, Sanjay Mishra and Pankaj Tripathi.

In Lucknow, the film will be shot in Residency, Dilkusha Garden, Charbagh, Golaganj and will have several shots on roads, informs film’s line-producer Aroon Singh Dicky.

3- Fukrey Stars In Lucknow; Asked LUCKNOW Foodies To Pair Pepsi With Their Favorite Food

The event was organised at the iconic Dastarkhwan restuarant in Hazratganj which saw the presence of Lucknowi audience who were elated to have with them the Fukrey stars.
The event was abuzz with stars and Lucknowi fans who had dropped to meet their favourite stars. Lucknow indeed was the best place for this campaign as this is a city of foodies who are always exploring something new to eat and since summers are taking over one can’t think of eating without pairing it with a Pepsi.

4- Lucknow Nawabs Won  MTV Box Cricket League Season 3

Since cricket and films are worshiped in our country, television queen Ekta Kapoor decided to get the two together for a show. Box Cricket League (BCL) is the perfect amalgamation of cricket and entertainment. Launched in 2014 by Marinating Films and played in a restricted space, BCL got together more than 100 TV actors under the same roof. Once the rights were bought by Ekta, the tournament aired on Sony TV and Colors in the previous seasons. Ditching the GEC space, this time she got the show on youth channel MTV. While BCL is yet to hit screens, that Lucknow Nawabs has won the trophy!!

5- One-third Liquor Shops In Lucknow To Close After SC- Order

In Lucknow one-third of liquor shops in the city will close business following Supreme Court order against liquor vending on state and national highways. Tipplers were disappointed with the news but commoners were happy as they expect the roadside nuisance to be curbed.
The order impacted 192 liquor shops within Lucknow district out of the total 601 model, English wine and beer shops.
“Surrounded by five national highways and two state highways in Lucknow district, 55km of the road stretch comes under the purview of the order,” said additional excise department Ram Sagar Tiwari who looks after licensing for liquor trade in UP.
